Psycle is a freeware music creation studio that uses a tracker interface. VSTi and VST plugins are supported with automation control made possible through a broad range of commands and plugins in the tracker interface. This was the first tracker software that I had used so I can say that it takes some getting used to and for those already familiar with the tracker interface, you should find yourself at home.
The current verion of psycle only supports 32 patterns however the limitation will soon be lifted in subsequent releases. Other features include MIDI-in, 8 internal and over 35 native plugins, and support for themes and skins.
