Audacity is a freeware sound editor, with releases available for any platform. With it you can record, edit, splice and mix sounds. It is very well written, and I use it often as my primary sound editor.
Audacity has a very active and talented group of developers behind it, and is a very widely respected and used audio editor. As I mentioned on the software page, I don't know alot of musicians who don't have a copy. |
