MDA VST Effects - 1.2 MB - Pack of 30 VST effects. This pack has alot of basic effects that are usually alot more useful than default software effects.

The Kick - 0.5 MB - A very simple, useful tool for making kick drums samples.

Pling - This is one of my all time favorite freeware VSTi's. Create very natural sounding plucked string sounds.

Beat Morpher - 1.2 MB - Gradually morph a beat over a series of bars. Usefull tool.

Vivaldi - This is a nice FM synth, it can be used to create an almost endless array of really interesting sounds.

Glitch - 472kb - One of the most unique sounding VST effects. Run a realtime sound signal through multiple customizable filters.

DSK World Stringz - A world string VST instrument. Recreates the sounds of 8 different types of world strings.

Cheeze Machine - A classic string ensemble VSTi. Excellent for creating your own pads and experimenting with sound textures.

Dual Delay - A really great quality dual delay VST effect with a lowpass resonant filter.

Vocal Keyboard Vocoder - A great quality vocoder VST effect. Produces alot of the effects currently popular in rap music.

NyquistEQ - A 5 band parametric equalizer plugin. Named after it's great handling of frequencies up to nyquist... the highest possible frequency within a sample rate.

Abokos v2.1 - High quality virtual analog synthesizer.

Rock - A really versatile VSTi capable of producing a wide range of distorted sounds. Produces great bass, pads, leads, and weird sounds. Comes with 128 built in presets.

Kassiopeia! - A Casio CZ inspired dual line phase distortion synthesizer. The Casio CZ was a one of the first flexible and affordable programmable synths.

Therapy - A strange VSTi that creates sounds based only on the words that you type in. Lots of fun to play around with

Crystal VSTi - An awesome VSTi with tons of possibilities. It's actually pretty insane the things this little VSTi can do, the interface is about as ugly as you can imagine but the sounds are great. One patch was was used by the producer of "Give Me More" by Britney Spears.
